Vectra 3D Aesthetic Simulation
The Langsdon Clinic uses the advanced VECTRA 3D imaging system to provide our patients with the most complete education possible regarding facial plastic surgery procedures. Using this system, Dr. Langsdon can take a three dimensional photograph of the patient prior to surgery. Then, using VECTRA’S software simulation tools, he can create 3D representations of how you will look after surgery. This allows you the opportunity to preview various surgical options, and decide on the procedure that best suits your personal goals. VECTRA 3D is used for facelifts, rhinoplasty, eye surgery and much more. The entire process takes only a few minutes, and you will have the opportunity to review the results during your initial consultation.
The VECTRA 3D camera creates a three dimensional photograph of your face by taking a number of pictures from different viewpoints to generate a three dimensional virtual image. This image can then be rotated on the screen and viewed from almost any angle. The software allows Dr. Langsdon to apply simulation tools that will change the size, shape and position of your area of concern to achieve the desired appearance. Once you are satisfied with the results, Dr. Langsdon will develop a surgical plan based on the changes you have made
What to Expect
Your VECTRA 3D simulation experience begins with a picture session in our office. This will create the starting point for your aesthetic consultation. Using special simulation software on your 3D picture, Dr. Langsdon will help you visualize the best possible results.
