“I absolutely love the Langsdon Clinic and my wonderful plastic surgeon, Dr. Roberto Lachica and his medical team and staff.
I like the location of the clinic and the clinic itself. It is located in Germantown close to a residential area, in a quiet serene neighborhood. From the outside, it looks like a beautiful older home with lots of character and charm. They even have a wrap-around porch. The clinic is cozy, and extremely neat, clean, and thoroughly sanitized.
I always feel very relaxed and comfortable when I go there because there are not a lot of people in the waiting room and because it’s just a beautiful, peaceful place. I like the furniture, lighting, and overall ambiance.
I also like that when I am given an appointment, I am almost always seen right on time. They are very professional and prompt. I don’t think I have ever had to wait more than 5 minutes before I am seen. And, no matter who is at the front desk, they are always nice, polite, and friendly.
I had two other consultations with plastic surgeons before I decided to go with Dr. Lachica. I chose him because he is board certified and he earned my business. He not only told me about his background and extensive experience; but, he also showed me some of the work he had done on his computer which was quite impressive.
In addition to that, I really liked his plan for my tummy tuck the best. He looked for ways to minimize the scarring and to keep it hidden so when I wear a halter top or swim bikini bottom or any kind of underwear, in general i.e. hipster, boy shorts, bikini, etc. you can’t see my scars at all. Here are some other things I liked about my overall experience with Dr. Lachica and his medical team and staff.
First and foremost, I had 3 separate surgeries, having 2 procedures per surgery for a total of 6 procedures done over the course of the 6 months and they all went super great including my recoveries. I, personally, had zero problems or issues with my surgeries or my recoveries. There was hardly any down time or pain. I followed all Dr. Lachica and Marie’s instructions and everything worked out perfectly.
Yes, I took it easy the first few days or so and I took my pain medicine as needed; but, I was literally up and moving about nicely within the first few days after each surgery. All my incisions healed up nicely and fairly quickly. And, I was cleared and back working out at the gym a few, short weeks later after each surgery.
And, most importantly, not only do I feel great, I look FANTASTIC. I am extremely happy and pleased with the results. Everywhere I go people tell me I look AMAZING especially family and friends who hadn’t seen me since I had the surgeries. I can wear almost anything I want now without worrying about all that saggy, excess skin showing.
I won’t lie the drainage tubes and compression garment suck. But, the good part about the drainage tubes is I only had them a few days or so. So not really a big deal. Now, having to wear the compression garment almost 24/7 except when showering for weeks is no fun. It doesn’t hurt or anything. You just get tired of wearing it and having to wear clothing that covers it up. Nevertheless, I suffered through it because I knew it was extremely important for optimal results.
I lost 225 pounds so I had a lot of excess skin everywhere with the majority of it being in my buttocks, hips, and thighs. I got a tummy tuck and breast lift, then arm lift and buttocks lift, and lastly, breast implants and a thigh lift. I look like a new person. I love my flat, smooth stomach. I can wear and look sexy, hot, and great in crop tops, halter tops, workout sports bras. My arms look fantastic; no more uneven, flabby skin/wings. They look so good and you can hardly see the scars. They are hidden for the most part. My breasts look great, too; they are not saggy and deflated like a sock of pennies anymore. My buttocks and thighs look way better than before. As they were extremely saggy but not anymore.
I love Dr. Lachica’s medical team, too. I remember when I got my second surgery where I got an arm lift and butt lift done, Marie came in the room and held my hand while the Gary put the IV in my foot. I was nervous and a little scared; but, she comforted me and told me I could squeeze her hand. She was so sweet, kind, and bubbly. She’s the best nurse ever. Gary, the anesthesiologist, was very nice, too. He talked with me about music and other things I think to help me not focus so much on what he had to do. It all worked out well because before I knew it I was asleep for my surgery.
Another thing Marie did was put a heat blower or something like that under the covers for my surgery so I wouldn’t be cold. I had told Dr. Lachica and team, I am anemic and get cold easily so she made the temperature nice and comfy just for me.
They really pay attention to detail here. During one of my pre-op visits, I remember the nurse asking me about the position of my leg and if it bothered me hanging off to the side. I was like for a few minutes no but if it had to be in that position for longer yes. I asked why she asked and she said so they would know to put something under it to hold it up during surgery. I really like all of that because it lets me know they care and want me to be as comfortable as possible.
Another thing I liked was when I thought I wanted bigger breast implants, Dr. Lachica told me what he recommended and how it is important to get breast implants proportionate to my body size. I am so glad I listened to what he recommended. It worked out perfectly and I love the size. They look so great and very natural.
I also remember when I received a call from his office that someone had canceled and an earlier surgery date was available. I said great. I want it. So I went and got my labs done. Dr. Lachica called me in for a visit and informed me I couldn’t do an earlier surgery day because of my iron levels. I was a little disappointed but really liked that he wouldn’t operate unless it was safe for me. So that’s exactly what we did. I did what was necessary to get my iron levels up and kept my original surgery date and everything worked out perfectly.
Lastly, I love the follow up after each surgery. I liked my caregiver/personal assistant and myself receiving phone calls from the nurse the day of and the next day after each one of my surgeries. I also enjoy, look forward to, and appreciate my follow up visits with Dr. Lachica after surgery.
Overall, I am extremely happy with all of my results. In my opinion, Dr. Lachica is the best plastic surgeon for excess skin removal surgery. The professionalism and attention to detail I received from him and his medical team is phenomenal.”
