Carol Langsdon, RNP serves as our advanced nurse injector. She obtained her nursing degree and certification as a nurse practitioner in 1981 from the University of Arkansas College of Nursing; a pioneer program in nurse practitioner training and one of the first programs in the nation. She was inducted as a member of Sigma Theta Tau, a national honor society for nurses.
She has worked in the Langsdon Clinic since its inception in 1986 in many positions; from surgical, preoperative preparation, postoperative care, and aesthetic treatments. She has served as a volunteer for a not for profit organization that provides medical education in aesthetic procedures for physicians and nurses. Carol also provides oversight of Germantown ASC, a state licensed and medicare certified surgery center that provides safe, convenient, cost effective surgical services for Langsdon Clinic patients. She offers years of experience in facial plastics and has spoken nationally on the topics relevant to medical spas, clinics and nonsurgical facial aesthetic treatments.
She is responsible for nursing aesthetics; including Botox®, facial fillers, skin treatments, peels and other non-surgical treatments. She designed and oversees a custom TCA skin peeling program that rivals most laser and light-based skin improvement tools. She participated in the early clinical trials for an injectable facial filler. Most importantly she will not “push” products or injectable treatments. She only provides what the patient needs and what has the best chance to be beneficial, and goes beyond expectations in providing natural results as comfortably as possible.
Carol is the mother of four adult children and a grandmother. Her hobbies include traveling, gardening and maintaining a 100 gallon saltwater aquarium.
